Dried mushrooms combine perfectly with a large variety of dishes. They can be used for rice and pasta dishes, and in meat or fish casseroles and stews. Just a small amount of these culinary wonders is enough to bring flavour and personality to your dishes. To rehydrate them, boil them in boiling water for a minute or leave them soaking for an hour. Once they have been rehydrated that can be used like fresh mushrooms. Their size will increase considerably. They should be stored in a dry place. A glass container with an airtight lid away from sources of heat is a suitable place.
